At the heart of my work with parents and children is the focus on connection. With the demands and challenges of the ever-changing modern world we inhabit, it is more important than ever to actively cultivate meaningful connection.

I work with parents to break negative patterns, reduce stress, build knowledge and confidence in communicating with and supporting their children. I help parents better understand themselves and their children and create positive sustainable changes that contribute to family wellbeing

18 years experience supporting children, young people, and their carers Bachelor of Social Work (AASW member) BA (Major in psychology) Foster Carer Assessor and Trainer Tuning into Kids accredited facilitator Bringing up Great Teens facilitator Trauma informed & Strengths-based approach In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent stage of development Trained in Positive and Therapeutic Parenting

I have worked with adults and teenagers for over 25 years, and  have had the privilege of seeing first-hand how providing support at the right time can make an immense difference in a teen’s life.  Providing a safe space with someone who is relatable can help a person open-up and talk about the difficulties they are experiencing.

I tailor counselling therapies to suit your challenge and strive to provide a safe, calm, and compassionate space, to connect, help you find clarity, create new pathways and  find a renewed sense of Self.

I believe in the healing power of nature, that you can benefit from taking your difficulty outside for new perspectives. I bring this into my practice in the form of Ecotherapy - see Our Services tab
